THE STORY

Evidence Before Automation.

Where 1V came from, and what it is.

The origin

1V did not begin as a software product.

It began as a law-library project: an effort to organize, preserve, and reason over authoritative public materials in a way that ordinary people could inspect and understand.

Over time, the work became larger than a library. The need was not only to store authority, but to verify how authority was applied to real operational facts.

That evolution became 1V. It was not planned as a product. It emerged from years of work on authority, evidence, and public accountability.

What 1V is

1V is a governed operational platform. It derives live, governed operational understanding from the systems a business already uses: professions arrive pre-seeded, a governed operational graph connects the work, workspaces project current operational state, and replay reconstructs governed, receipted states from recorded evidence and lineage.

Verification remains at the heart of it — deterministic findings, preserved evidence, professional judgment — but as the trust layer of a larger operating model. The platform remains constant. Only the domains and authorities change. QuickBooks is our first applied workflow, not the boundary of the platform.

The company

Reliant Scale Technologies is the commercial company behind 1V. Our work is centered on Evidence Before Automation: helping organizations and practitioners understand what was reviewed, what was found, and what professional judgment was applied before automation or reporting depends on the outcome.

The founder

I am Lamar Rice, Founder and Platform Advocate at Reliant Scale Technologies.

My earlier public work focused on civic advocacy, public accountability, and systems that affect ordinary people. That work has not disappeared. It has matured into a more structured mission: building evidence-first systems that help people, practitioners, and organizations understand what was reviewed, what was found, and what professional judgment was applied.

The civic lane

The civic and public-interest side of this work lives separately through the Reliant Scale Foundation, filed in Pennsylvania, and the Reliant Scale Experiment. That lane remains rooted in accountability, access, and public benefit. The commercial lane is focused on 1V, the 1V Method, professional publishing, and evidence-first operational workflows.

The work has changed form, but not purpose.
