1. Scope and responsible company
This policy applies to Reliant Scale Technologies Incorporated (“RST,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including reliantscale.com, customer support, RST Press purchases, and Reliant Scale Atlas services.
RST is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to clientservices@reliantscale.com.
2. Information we collect
Contact and account information. This may include your name, business email address, organization, support messages, account identifiers, and authentication records.
Purchase information. We receive order, product, amount, status, and customer-reference information needed to fulfill and support a purchase. Payment providers process payment-card details; RST does not need the complete card number to deliver an order.
Customer-provided records. We process records, claims, questions, and supporting material you choose to submit for an Atlas review.
Connected QuickBooks information. After an authorized connection, Atlas may retrieve the selected Invoice and linked Payment information needed for the requested evidence check. This can include identifiers, amounts, balances, currency, dates, linkage metadata, version values, and update times. Atlas also processes the company connection reference and OAuth credentials needed to make authorized requests.
Technical information. Our systems may receive standard server and security logs such as IP address, request time, route, device or browser information, response status, and security events. Authenticated Atlas surfaces may store session and recent-result information in your browser.
3. How we use information
- provide, secure, and support the requested product or service;
- retrieve authorized records and produce the requested evidence assessment;
- create receipts, prevent duplicate charges, and investigate operational failures;
- respond to support, privacy, security, and commercial requests;
- maintain service reliability, prevent abuse, and satisfy legal obligations; and
- improve products using operational evidence and feedback consistent with the promises in this policy.
The qualified Atlas for QuickBooks V0 design does not use QuickBooks records to train a general-purpose model.
4. QuickBooks connection and disconnection
Atlas accesses a QuickBooks company only after an authorized user completes the Intuit consent flow. The Accounting permission made available by Intuit can support both read and mutation operations; Atlas for QuickBooks V0 enforces a narrower, read-side contract and is designed to refuse accounting mutation requests before transport.
When a user disconnects, Atlas requests remote token revocation, removes the locally stored connection token, and stops later retrieval through that connection. Disconnecting does not automatically erase assessment artifacts, receipts, purchase records, or security records already retained for delivery, accountability, dispute handling, or legal obligations. You may separately request deletion.
5. Disclosure and service providers
We disclose information only as needed to operate RST, fulfill a request, secure our systems, process payments, communicate with you, comply with law, or complete a business transaction involving RST subject to appropriate safeguards.
Provider categories can include hosting and infrastructure, email and support, payment processing, and a connected platform you direct us to use. Intuit operates the QuickBooks platform and authorization service. Stripe processes current RST Press payments. Those providers handle information under their own terms and privacy policies.
RST does not sell personal information and does not use customer accounting records for targeted advertising.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, preserve required receipts and security evidence, resolve disputes, maintain backups, and comply with legal obligations. Retention differs by record type.
Atlas for QuickBooks production access is not yet open. Before production activation and Marketplace submission, RST will publish the product-specific retention schedule for the bounded QuickBooks projection, assessment result, audit receipt, billing record, and backup copies.
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion by emailing Atlas Support. We verify requests before acting. Some records may be retained where needed for security, fraud prevention, financial recordkeeping, dispute resolution, or law; where deletion is unavailable, we will explain the applicable limit.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information and service. These include access controls, tenant and company binding, encrypted credential storage, transport controls, audit evidence, and recovery procedures. No security program eliminates every risk.
8. Business users and children
Atlas for QuickBooks is designed for authorized business users who are at least 18 years old. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this service.
9. International use
RST is based in the United States. If you access our services from another country, information may be processed in the United States and other places used by our service providers, subject to applicable law and contractual safeguards.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will change the effective date and provide additional notice when required.
