Most reporting tools answer the questions someone anticipated when the dashboard was built. This is for the question you actually have — asked against the record, with the evidence, the conflicts and the gaps returned alongside the answer. and its holes.
An answer without its gaps is the more dangerous artifact, because it invites a decision it cannot support. Every item in the workspace carries what was found, what was not found, and where the two conflict — and it says so on the item, not in a footnote nobody opens.

What does the business report?
The figure as stated, with the document and page it came from named — so the number and its origin arrive together rather than the number arriving alone.

What supports it?
The evidence found on the page, quoted as found. Not a summary of the evidence, and not a restatement in our words.

Where does the evidence conflict?
Two documents that disagree are a finding, not an error to resolve quietly. Atlas shows both and marks the item unresolved rather than picking a winner on your behalf.

What is missing?
Named explicitly on every item. An absent figure is reported as absent — the most common way a record misleads is by being silently incomplete.

What changed afterward?
What has moved since the record was read, or that nothing has. Both are answers.
02 / Where this stands
Demonstrable today.
Not yet a product.
The workspace exists and runs: sign-in, the three regions, source naming without exposing the document, filters, replay and recovery. It has been proven end to end. What it does not yet have is a frozen package — a fixed scope, duration and price — and we would rather tell you that than invent one to make this page symmetrical with the other door.
An answer without its gaps is the more dangerous artifact.

Sources are named, never exposed
You see which document and which page a figure came from. The document itself is not published into the workspace for anyone who happens to have a link.

The question stays on screen
Filters narrow the record by status, document, kind or what is missing, and your original question and the counts stay where they were while you work.

Three statuses, and no fourth
Complete, needs review, unresolved. A deliberately small vocabulary, because a status language that can express confidence will be used to express more of it than the evidence carries.

You have the question.
The record is the problem.
This fits an organisation where the evidence for an important number is spread across documents and systems, where people disagree about which figure is right, and where the cost of being wrong is real. It does not fit someone looking for a faster dashboard — we would be the wrong answer, and we would rather establish that in the first conversation than the third.
What this is notAtlas does not certify, verify or audit anything. It shows you the record, the evidence behind it, and what is missing from it. The judgement remains yours, and no output here constitutes assurance.
